Master Giovanni Renzo will perform the multimedia concert of the opera “Atlas coelestis: Music and the Stars”, in the magical scenery of the Strait under the bright starry sky.

It is a collection of compositions – the author explains – to reconstruct in music the path of the telescope which Galileo Galilei observed the Sky by, in the night of  January 7th of 1610, when he discovered the four stars around Jupiter that questioned the theory geocentric of Ptolemy. It is a musical journey through space and time, to explore the cosmos to the most remote borders.

Speakers will welcome greetings: the director of the Museum Carmelo Malacrino and the scientific director of the Planetarium.Angela Misiano.
