“It is a wish for change ‘for a new Calabria’, as the subtitle of this concert state”, Oliva says. “This was the title of the closing musical performance of the International Music Architecture Festival. The state institutions involved in the fight against mafias and organized crime participate, also and above all through an education action for young people. The strategic way to form a new mentality, which looks with courage to the future and strengthened by solidarity between the positive energies of society, is education for beauty. Music is the beautiful, clean, healthy, elegant, orderly face of our Calabria. What we would like to show more and more often”.

The room program ranges between the Nineteenth and Twentieth Centuries to suggest a musical atmosphere with a strong emotional impact and high artistic quality. Chopin “warms” the spirits, at the opening, Strauss and Offenback bid farewell to the guests of MArRC and Calabria with lively Polka and Can Can.
