Concert in preparation for the 2020 Music Festival
The National Archaeological Museum of Reggio Calabria “greets” the 2019 Christmas Holidays by music at the Museum and welcomes the new year.
Appointment on Friday, January 10th 2020, at 6.00 pm, in the welcoming space of Piazza Paolo Orsi, where the majestic Tree is festively decorated under the ancient gaze of the wonderful Riace Bronzes from their dedicated room, for the Concert at care of Anbima – National Association of autonomous Italian music bands, among the events in preparation for the Music Festival (which is celebrated this year on Sunday, June 21st, on the initiative of MiBACT together with SIAE and AIPFM-Italian Association for the Promotion of the Festival of Music).
Musicians from the associated bands of the province of Reggio Calabria will perform: the “Giuseppe Scerra” Youth Wind Orchestra of Delianuova, conducted by Master Gaetano Pisano; the Royal Philharmonic Academy of Gerace, directed by Master Liliya Byelyera; the “Giuseppe Rechichi” Wind Orchestra of Oppido Mamertina, conducted by Master Stefano Calderone; the “Euterpe” Band Complex in Reggio Calabria, directed by Master Giuseppe Maira; the “Vincenzo Leotta” Youth Wind Instrument of the Strait, conducted by Master Alessandro Monorchio; the “Michele Mammoliti” Wind Orchestra of Seminara, conducted by Master Bruno Zema.
